GREENVILLE, S.C. – UNC Greensboro volleyball (8-13, 2-5) was unable to score a victory in a key Southern Conference matchup on Wednesday night, falling to Furman 3-1 (24-26, 25-21, 20-25, 20-25) at Alley Gymnasium.   

Three Things To Know
--Junior Maria Esch led the way in kills for the Spartans with 12 

--Freshman Elayne Grisbee tied her season-high in blocks with five. 

--Freshman Gabriela McHugh moved into 15^thplace in career assists in program history after collecting 43 assists against Furman.  

Up Next
The Spartans will return home on Saturday afternoon to host Mercer for a 4 p.m. The match will honor past members of the program.
