GREENSBORO, N.C. - Working to a .500 week, UNCG men's soccer enters this Wednesday's contest with Elon after a 5-1 win over UNC Asheville and a most recent 4-2 loss at the hands of Appalachian State.
Despite dropping the decision to the Mountaineers, the Spartans continued to prove themselves as one of the top-50 offenses in the country, scoring a pair against an ASU side that has given up a goal or less in five of seven matches played this season. UNCG will be up against an Elon squad that has had difficulty hitting the back of the net lately, securing just three goals in its last five contests and averaging 1.29 goals per game on the year.
