GREENSBORO, N.C. –  UNC Greensboro Athletics and Learfield IMG College announced plans today for the first-ever UNCG NBA 2K20 Challenge presented by The Reserve Student Apartments. The UNCG NBA 2K20 Challenge is an esports tournament open to all UNCG students. The event, November 20-21, is free to enter but participants must have an Xbox One gaming system as well as NBA 2K20. 

In addition to the title of UNCG NBA 2K20 Champion, the winner will receive a 38" Dell curved gaming monitor. The four finalists will win a $100 Bojangles gift card and all participants will receive a free UNCG facemask. 

The semifinals and finals will be broadcast via Twitch on November 21. The broadcasts, sponsored by UNCG Communications, will feature UNCG play by play announcer Scott Pryzwansky calling all of the action.
