It was the UNCG men's golf program season-opening event of the 2021-22 campaign.

- Swanson and Connor are tied for 16th overall. They each took different routes to shooting a two-round total of 141.
- Lyerly's three-under 69 led UNCG in the first round.
- Swanson led the Spartans in the second round with a three-under 69.
- Lyerly and Swanson also shot under par in the second round.
- The Spartans are tied for sixth overall after shooting 573 over their two rounds.
- UNCG shot a 285 in the first round and a 288 in second round.

Inside Round One
- Lyerly's round of 69 was highlighted by four birdies and a 32 on the front nine.
- Connor's two-under 70 featured four birdies and one eagle. He carded a two-under on the front nine.
- Swanson's two eagles helped him shoot an even-par 72. He shot a three-under 33 on the front nine.
- Tommy Lamb's three birdies helped him finish with a one-over 73.
- Jack Marcotte had three birdies.
Inside Round Two
- Swanson sizzled especially on the front nine where he had five of his six birdies.
- Swanson carded a three-under 33 on the front nine.
- Lyerly had four birdies and shot a 34 on the back nine to finish with a two-under 70.
- Connor was consistent in shooting a one-under 35 on the front nine and an even 36 on the back nine.
- He had four birdies, three of which occurred on the front nine.
- Marcotte had four birdies, two each on the front and back nine.
- Lamb and Randall Hudson each shot a two-over 74.
