CARLIN'S COURSE OF THOUGHT
"To go 2-0 on the road, especially to start conference play, is a testament to the work ethic and fight of the players. Our team weathered challenging moments this weekend very well and earned these two wins. We definitely have some areas to improve on, but we are finding ways to win. We're working well through times of stress while staying assertive and that's great to see."
UPCOMING
The Spartans will head home and welcome teams that played in the SoCon Championship match last season, Samford (2-10, 1-0) and Mercer (5-8, 1-1). UNCG will play Samford on Friday and Mercer on Saturday.
