- Daija Jackson is fourth in the SoCon in hitting percentage (.333)
- Gabriela McHugh is fourth in assists per set (9.06)
- Ella Voegele is third in digs per set (4.18)
- UNCG is second in the SoCon in kills per set by opponents (11.69), third in digs by opponents (13.98), fourth in hitting percentage by opponents (.199), fourth in assists by opponents (10.83), and fourth in blocks by opponents (2.05).
LAST TIME OUT
- The Spartans dropped a four-set match to Chattanooga in Fleming Gym on Saturday afternoon.
- UNCG won the first set 25-19, before the Mocs won 25-14, 25-22, and 26-24.
- Taylor Robertson paced the Spartans with 14 kills and 12 digs, her sixth double-double of the season.Â
- Gabriela McHugh tallied 41 assists for a match high.
- Ella Voegele led the match with 23 digs. This was her 16th match this season with double-digit digs.
- Daija Jackson had 12 kills and a team-high five blocks.
TOURNAMENT AWARDS
- At the Spartan-Aggie Tournament (August 26-27), Mya Wood and Gabriela McHugh were named to the All-Tournament Team.
- Following the Tussle in the Triad Tournament (September 2-3), Taylor Robertson and Ella Voegele earned the honors.
- Robertson and Voegele also were named to the All-Tournament Team after the Aggie/Phoenix Volley for Unity Tournament.
- Robertson was most recently named to the Chucktown Throwdown All-Tournament Team.

UNCG was voted to finish sixth in the Southern Conference (SoCon) Preseason Coaches' Poll.

- The Catamounts were voted to finish fifth in the SoCon Preseason poll.
- Destinee Dorsey and Merry Gebel were named to the Preseason All-Conference team.
- Last week, WCU split a pair of home matches against Tennessee foes, Chattanooga, 3-0, and ETSU, 0-3.
- The Catamounts currently sit in a three-way tie for second place with both Wofford and Samford.
- Merry Gebel leads WCU and ranks fifth in the SoCon in overall attack percentage (.273) while ranking fourth in kills per set (3.56).
- Dorsey and Bailey Hartsough rank sixth and 10th, respectively, defensively with averages of 3.66 and 3.08 digs per set.
- Hartsough leads the team with a 0.32 aces per set average.
- Johnna Robinson leads the team with a 0.84 blocks per set average.

- The Catamounts face off for the 59th time with WCU leading the all-time series 31-27.

BREAST CANCER AWARENESS MONTH
- The UNCG women's athletic teams have partnered with Living Beyond Breast Cancer (LBBC) for the month of October.
- LBBC is a national nonprofit organization that seeks to create a world that understands more than one way to have breast cancer.
- To fulfill its mission of providing trusted information and a community of support to those impacted by breast cancer, LBBC offers in-person experiences and on-demand content for those newly diagnosed, in-treatment, post-treatment, and living with metastatic disease.
