BUIES CREEK, N.C.- The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) baseball dropped a heartbreaking, 11-7, game against the Campbell Camels to split the season series on Wednesday night.

Campbell took the early 2-1 lead after one inning.
Kennedy Jones scored the Spartan's first run after
Greg Hardison grounded into a double play.

UNCG would be next to score after
Ethan McKay hit a double off the left-field wall to bring
GC Jarman across the plate. The Spartans would add two more in the fifth inning on a sacrifice fly from
Mitchell Smith and a groundout from
Pres Cavenaugh.

UNCG loaded the bases in the sixth inning and cleared them on a triple from Jones to add three more runs.

Campbell worked its way back to tie the game and then took the lead after scoring nine runs in two innings.

Sam Murchison earned the start for the Spartans. He pitched 6.1 innings and struck out five while only walking one.
