SPARTANS INTERVIEWING SPARTANS WITH GREG HARDISON
Hardison: "You had second and third. A big spot against a tough lefty. What was the key to that swing?"
Bott: "Just staying with him with the approach. He got two strikes on me quick, but he left a fastball up for me and I just threw my hands at the ball."
Hardison: "What do the Spartans need to do to win the series tomorrow?"
Bott: "Lots of energy. A lot of positive vibes. We have to bring it tomorrow. I like where we were at today. We have to continue with the same approach."
SPARTANS INTERVIEWING SPARTANS WITH BRADLEY BOTT
Bott: "I'm here with senior,
Greg Hardison. You got taken out in the ninth inning. Tell me, what was going through your head right there?"
Hardison: "It was pretty cool. I wasn't expecting that. It was a great day on senior day, getting to honor the seniors. It was just a good team win."

FINAL WORDS FROM COACH GODWIN
"I think today was a little bit of a role reversal from yesterday. We had an outstanding start from Parsley, and I can't say enough about our hitters and their approach against a very good arm. That's typically what happens when you get good pitching and good offensive production, you get a chance to be successful. I am very pleased with how we played today."
Â
UPCOMING
UNCG will close out its regular-season homestand and look to win the series tomorrow at 1 p.m. The Spartans will send LHP
Jared Mathewson to the mound.
