RALEIGH, N.C.- The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) Baseball team dropped its final non-conference game of the 2022 regular season, 20-2, to N.C. State on Tuesday in Raleigh, N.C.

Billy Godwin and the rest of the Spartan baseball team will turn their attention to this weekend as they head to Western Carolina for the last series of the season.

The Spartans can finish as high as fourth in the conference. They are currently sixth with a 9-9 record in the SoCon.

Tonight, seven Spartans made an appearance on the mound, with sophomore
Zack Mallia earning his second start of the season.

Jake Wolf, and
Price King followed.

Matt Kemp returned to the field for the Spartans. He scored UNCG's second run on a wild pitch. The Spartan first run came in the top of the third on a solo home run from
Hogan Windish.
