FINAL WORDS FROM COACH GODWIN
"I thought we swung the bat well and had a good approach at the plate. Parsley was able to get ahead early and did a great job doing what he does which is you have to beat him. He's not going to beat himself. He was able to get us deep in the game and
Hunter Shuey did a good job coming in. I thought we had a solid overall performance from our guys in a series that we need to win. We have a chance to win the series tomorrow against a good club. We're going to come out and play well tomorrow."
UPCOMING
UNCG continues the series tomorrow at 5 p.m. The Spartans will send LHP
Jared Mathewson to the mound.
