FINAL WORDS FROM COACH GODWIN
"[Western Carolina] is a very good offensive team. We saw that last week. Our guys hung in there and they did enough and that's what you have to do this time of the year. We're just going to survive and advance, that's what we did today. I thought Austin Koehn gave us a huge shot for our team and went deep in the game for our bullpen. Jake Wolf got a big strikeout in the eighth and we turned it over to Hunter in the ninth and it was awesome."

UPCOMING
UNCG will face the winner of the No. 8 The Citadel/No.2 Mercer game tomorrow at 3:30 p.m.
