GREENSBORO, N.C. – The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) men's soccer team and head coach
Chris Rich announce a full slate of games for the 2022 season.
The reigning 2021 Southern Conference (SoCon) Regular Season Champions, the Spartans' schedule is highlighted with four teams that made it to the 2021 NCAA Tournament, including 2021 National Champions Clemson Tigers.
"We're very excited for the upcoming 2022 season," exclaimed head coach
Chris Rich. "We believe we have put together an extremely challenging schedule that will test us in many ways. We will be playing many NCAA tournament level teams, which will of course be difficult, but I know that is exactly what our players want. We are looking forward to our first test on August 25th here at UNCG Soccer Stadium!"

- UNCG hosts four-straight home games to begin the season.
- The Spartans host UNC Asheville for its home and season opener on Thursday, August 25, scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
- UNCG travels to Buies Creek, North Carolina to battle 2021 Big South Champion and Campbell University on Wednesday, September 21 at 7:00 p.m. The Camels appeared in the 2021 NCAA Tournament for the third time in four years last season.
- The following week, the Spartans travel to Louisville, Kentucky to face the Louisville Cardinals, who made their 13th NCAA Tournament appearance last season, on Tuesday, September 27.
- UNCG's 2022 non-conference slate is highlighted by a rematch against the reigning 2021 National Champions Clemson. The Tigers host the Spartans this time on Tuesday, October 11 at 7:00 p.m.
- Southern Conference (SoCon) play begins Saturday, October 1 welcoming Furman University to UNCG Soccer Stadium with a start time of 7:00 p.m.
- The SoCon Men's Soccer Tournament will take place from November 4 to November 12.
