GREENSBORO, N.C. – The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) women's tennis team and Head Coach
Paul Thomson announce the 2022-23 schedule.
The schedule is highlighted by 12 home matches. The Spartans are also scheduled to host UNCG Duals from September 23-25. UNCG will compete in the ITA Regionals, hosted by Wake Forest from October 13-17.
"We're looking forward to a challenging schedule this season," stated head coach
Paul Thomson. "We will start out with four dates this fall including ITA Regionals at Wake Forest. This is the toughest region in the country. That will be a great challenge and experience for our players. I'm looking forward to watching our returning players and our new additions grow and develop this fall as we prepare for the spring season. This is a great bunch of young ladies. Everyone is excited about our journey ahead."

QUICK FACTS
- The Spartans will open the season from Friday, September 16 to Sunday, September 19 at Elon, N.C. in the Elon Invitational.
- UNCG will host the UNCG Duals from September 23rd to the 25th at the UNCG Tennis Courts.
- The squad then follows up with the ITA Regionals hosted by Wake Forest from October 13th to the 17th.
- The Fall schedule is wrapped up with the Liberty Duals from November 12-13 in Lynchburg, Virginia.
- UNCG travels to Clemson, South Carolina to open the spring semester with the Tigers on Saturday, January 14.
- The Spartans' Southern Conference (SoCon) slate begins on Sunday, February 9th at Furman.
- The SoCon Championship is scheduled for April 20-22 at the Champions Club in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
