GREENSBORO, N.C. – The No. 23 UNC Greensboro (UNCG) men's soccer team remains undefeated heading into a non-conference battle with the Winthrop Eagles.
 
The Spartans are one of 26 teams in the nation that have not dropped a game. UNCG is ranked in the top 25 in 10 categories.

Gate entry: 
Fans should enter at the main gate into the soccer stadium located off of West Drive below the tennis courts. Gates are open to fans one hour prior to the start of the match.
 
Parking:
Parking is free in the Walker Deck one hour prior to the start of the match. Fans parking in the Walker Deck should follow West Drive down to the main entrance of the soccer stadium.
 
Food and Beverages:
No outside food and drink are permitted in the soccer stadium. A sealed water bottle is permitted. A variety of food and drinks will be sold at the concessions stand on the soccer concourse. Concessions are CASHLESS - payment options include Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.
 
AFONSO AT HIS BEST
Marco Afonso was named Southern Conference (SoCon) Offensive Player of the Week, making him the second Spartan to earn the honor this season.
 
Steven Hernandez was recognized when he scored his first-collegiate hat trick earlier this season.
 
Afonso led the Spartans with two goals and one assist during UNCG's 5-1 victory over High Point and a 2-2 draw against VCU. His goals this week were his 10^th and 11^th career goals, while his one helper marked his 16^th career assist.
 
The fifth-year from Johannesburg, South Africa was also selected to the TopDrawerSoccer Team of the Week.

• UNCG earned its first United Soccer Coaches national ranking after starting the season 4-0. The Spartans are 23rd in the nation.
