GREENSBORO, Ga. – Junior Randall Hudson led the UNC Greensboro (UNCG) men's golf team with a final round four-under-par (68), leading to a top-ten finish, as the Spartans concluded the Southern Conference (SoCon) Men's Golf Championship in fifth place.

Hudson carded five total birdies in his final round effort. The junior posted two birdies on the back nine, the first part of his round, starting at the par three, 175-yard 15th hole. Hudson started a stretch of four birdies in six holes at the par five, 560-yard 17th hole as part of a one-under-par back nine score. The junior surged on the front nine to conclude his round beginning with a birdie on the par five, 558-yard first hole. Hudson posted a pair of birdies on par four holes on both the third and fourth holes to card an unblemished three-under-par (33) front nine effort. Thanks to the second-lowest round on the final day, Hudson posted a five-under-par (211) 54-hole total to earn a share of seventh place.

Tommy Lamb also posted five birdies on the way to a two-under-par (70) final round scorecard. The junior started his birdie barrage on the par four, 421-yard 11th hole. Lamb also carded two birdies in three holes at the 15th and 17th holes. The junior extended his stretch to three birdies in five holes at the first hole and earned his final birdie on the fourth. Lamb's three-under-par (213) earned a share of 11th place, one of 13 SoCon golfers to finish the tournament under par.

Competing as a substitute for the final round, Noah Connor carded five birdies on the way to a one-under-par (71) finish. The senior's lone birdie on the back nine came on the par three, 205-yard 13th hole. Connor surged on the front nine to close his round beginning with a first hole birdie. The senior also posted three birdies in four holes beginning at the fourth hole while capping the run with back-to-back-birdies on the sixth and seventh hole.

After posting an even-par (72) score on the second round, graduate student Nick Lyerly mirrored that performance during round three tying for 26th overall with a four-over-par (220) total.
