GREENSBORO, N.C. – The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) men's golf team will compete in the two-day Rod Myers Invitational from Sept. 24 to Sept. 25 in Durham, N.C., hosted by Duke.

- The Spartans most recently began the 2023-24 season at the Bearcat Invitational, hosted by Cincinnati.
- UNCG came in sixth place in the two-day tournament after finishing with a five-over-par (857) over three rounds (282, 289, 286).
- The Spartans carded a total of 42 birdies and 172 pars over the tournament.
- Symon Balbin led the Spartans by tying for ninth place out of 90 individuals. Balbin finished with a two-under-par (211).
- Randall Hudson came in second for UNCG at the tournament to tie for 22nd. Hudson moved up 23 spots with his two-under-par performance (69) in the third round.
- Jack Marcotte tied for seventh in birdies with 12 overall over the two-day event.
- Kelvin Hernandez made his collegiate debut at the Bearcat Invitational with a 14-over-par (227).
Last Time at This Event:
- The Spartans competed at the Rod Myers Invitational last season. The squad finish in fifth place at the tournament with a nine-over-par (873).
- Three total Spartans earned an under-par score in the final round of the two-day event.
- Hudson finished on top for UNCG at last year's tournament with a one-under-par (215) to tie for 11th place. Hudson finished with 11 birdies.
- Tommy Lamb finished last year with a two-under-par (72) in the final round of the tournament.
