GREENSBORO, N.C. – Three Spartans of the UNC Greensboro (UNCG) women's tennis team will compete in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Chapel Hill Regional, hosted by North Carolina from Thursday to Monday at Chewning Tennis Center in Chapel Hill, North Carolina

TOURNAMENT INFORMATION

• A live stream of the ITA Chapel Hill Regional will be available at GoHeels.com/watch, and results will be posted throughout the weekend at this link.
• This event will host many Division-I schools and a total of 121 student-athletes.
• Play is scheduled to begin at 9:00 a.m. each day.

COMPETING FOR UNCG

• Seniors Olivia Gallagher and Alexandra Dodashev as well as sophomore Sydney Bly are set to compete in both singles and doubles in the tournament.

SCOUTING THE SPARTANS

• The Spartans began the 2024 fall state at the Tribe Invitational, hosted by William & Mary from Sept. 14-15
• The Spartans competed against William & Mary, Cincinnati and Richmond across the two-day event.
• Gallagher, Elisabeth Birkevold and Ella Olexa each collected one singles win apiece on the weekend.

PREVIOUSLY AT THE ITA REGIONALS
The Spartans last competed in the Carolina ITA Regional Tournament during the 2022 fall season. Alumni Juliana Craft and current senior Luna Urso both picked up singles wins for the Spartans in the final day of competition.
