2/4/2025 2:42:00 PM

GREENSBORO, N.C. –  The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) men's soccer team has added four transfers to its 2025 spring roster, as announced by Head Coach Chris Rich.

Xavi Csato (Stetson), Tylar Elliott (Chowan), Kimito Fritz (UTRGV) and Julien Le Bourdoulous (Kansas City) recently transferred to UNCG and are set to compete with the men's soccer team this spring.

The men's soccer roster now consists of 19 student-athletes, including 15 who are returning from last fall in addition to the four newcomers.

The Spartans are coming off a 2024 campaign that saw them finish on top of The Southern Conference (SoCon) to capture their 10th SoCon regular season title as well as their third in the last four seasons.

Xavi Csato
Class: Redshirt Sophomore
Hometown: Stuart, Florida
Previous Team: Stetson University
Position: Forward
Coach Rich on Csato: "Xavi is another exciting transfer as he comes to UNCG after excelling at Stetson. He is a dynamic winger that can beat players one-on-one and can create individual moments. We are looking forward to him bringing these qualities to the group and fitting them into our team."

Tylar Elliott
Class: Sophomore
Hometown: Greensboro, N.C.
Previous Team: Chowan University
Position: Midfielder
Coach Rich on Elliott: "This is a big welcome home for Tylar, as he is from Greensboro and grew up around UNCG. He had two major impact years at Chowan and we believe he's now ready to do it at UNCG. He is a blue-collar central midfielder that can cover a lot of ground and will bring a gritty side to our team."

Kimito Fritz
Class: Junior
Hometown: Tokyo, Japan
Previous Team: University of Texas Rio Grande Valley
Position: Defender
Coach Rich on Fritz: "Kimito is an exciting addition for us as he has the ability to make a high impact in multiple positions. He can play outside back, center back or as a midfielder. That versatility is a huge asset to us. We're excited to figure out his best role for us this spring."
Julien Le Bourdoulous
Class: Senior
Hometown: Quemperven, France
Previous Team: University of Missouri-Kansas City
Position: Midfielder
Coach Rich on Le Bourdoulous: "Julien comes to us after a very successful two years at UMKC, specifically leading them to the Sweet 16 this past fall. We believe he has the ability to be one of the best midfielders in all of college soccer so we are excited for him to be at UNCG!"
