RALEIGH, N.C. – The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) men's track team sent three individuals to compete in the Raleigh Relays on Thursday at the Paul Derr Track & Field Facility.
All three Spartans competed in the 1500-meter run, where 208 competitors ran in 16 different sections.
Lane Prochaska paced the trio with a season best time of 3:58.76, placing 187
th overall. Prochaska placed 11
th in his section.
Andrew Hamilton clocked in a personal best time of 3:59.96 in the event, which put him in 190
th place. Hamilton finished 12
th in the same section as Prochaska.
Samuel Barnard also ran a personal best time of 4:00.55. His time placed him in 191
st, behind Hamilton. Barnard ran in heat three, where he finished in 11
th overall.
Among the 1500-meter field, The Southern Conference had three other competitors in the event. Furman's Matthew Smith finished the race with a time of 3:40.54, placing 15
th. Chattanooga had Aaron Isbell (3:53.81) and Jack Martin (3:54.01) take home 145th and 146
th place, respectively.

UNCG will head across town to compete in the VertKlasse Meeting from April 4-5 at Vert Stadium, hosted by High Point.
