GREENSBORO, N.C. – UNC Greensboro (UNCG) volleyball Head Coach
Trent Dunahoo has announced the hiring of Natalie Klotz as an assistant coach.
"We are excited to welcome Natalie Klotz to UNCG," said Dunahoo. "Natalie brings great experience, a strong network of relationships and a genuine commitment to continuous growth and learning. It is clear that she values building meaningful connections, investing in people and finding ways to help a program move forward. Her professionalism and desire to keep evolving as a coach and leader make her an outstanding addition to our staff. I know she will have a positive impact on our student-athletes and our program as we continue to build for the future."
Klotz comes to UNCG after spending the past two seasons as an assistant coach/recruiting coordinator at Smith College in Northampton, Massachusetts. While with the Bears, she contributed to player development through the utilization of VolleyStation and VolleyMetrics to track and analyze player performance. In addition, she coached three All-American Honorable Mentions and guided the 2024 team to the NEWMAC Championship, making it to the NCAA DIII Round of 32 with a 31-7 record.
Prior to her stint at Smith, Klotz served as an assistant coach at Bates College in Lewiston, Maine, from 2022-24, where she acted as the primary recruiter for the volleyball program. While serving as a mentor to student-athletes, she led the training for attackers and blockers on the team.
Klotz served as an assistant coach for Capital City Elite Volleyball Club in Salem, Oregon, while in college at Willamette University. A team captain at Willamette, Klotz was chosen All-Northwest Conference Honorable Mention in 2021 after earning Second Team All-NWC recognition in 2019. She graduated from Willamette with her Bachelor's of Arts in Economics & International Studies.
