GREENSBORO, N.C. – UNCG Director of Athletics Kim Record has announced that women's basketball head coach Wendy Palmer has been relieved of her duties. A national search for her replacement will begin immediately.

“I appreciate the contributions that Wendy Palmer and her staff have made to our program,” Record said. "Coach Palmer represented UNCG with a positive attitude and outstanding values during her entire tenure at UNCG. I wish her success in her future endeavors." 

Palmer has been the Spartans' head coach for the past five seasons, posting a 33-116 overall record and an 11-75 mark in Southern Conference play.
