GREENVILLE, S.C. – This weekend's series with the Furman Paladins has been cancelled due to weather and unplayable field conditions. The three-game series for UNCG and Furman was scheduled to be played Thursday, Friday and Saturday, but consistent showers postponed Thursday and Friday before the field conditions were deemed unplayable for Saturday's contests.

The Spartans will head back to Greenville for the first round of the Southern Conference Tournament Wednesday afternoon at 12:30 p.m. and will play the winner of The Citadel and Western Carolina who will play in the play-in game Tuesday at 10 a.m.
