GREENSBORO, N.C. – UNCG baseball opens its 2020 season against three potential NCAA Championship tournament teams, facing off with Coastal Carolina, San Diego State and Virginia Tech at the 'Brittain Resorts Baseball at the Beach' tournament in Conway, S.C. The Spartans kickoff the campaign against the hosting, and 2016 National Champion, Chanticleers on opening day, before playing a pair of day games against the Hokies and Aztecs on the ensuing Saturday and Sunday.

The Spartans get into the full swing of the season on Tuesday, traveling to Winston-Salem for their second ACC matchup of the year, against Wake Forest. UNCG holds a 16-43 record against Wake all-time, but has beaten the side in each of the past two seasons.
