GREENSBORO, N.C. - Due to growing concerns over the spread of the coronavirus COVID-19, UNCG baseball has officially cancelled its weekend series against Jacksonville University. At this time there is no plan to reschedule the original three-game series, with the Spartans' next contest currently slated for this next Tuesday against Campbell at UNCG Baseball Stadium.

The news concerning this weekend's series comes on the back of the NCAA's recent decision to cancel all winter and spring sport championships in 2020, in addition to multiple professional domestic leagues suspending their own regularly scheduled competitions.
