HOW'S THEIR FORM?
-- UNCG broke up its recent losing streak in a 9-0 shutout of Gardner-Webb this past Thursday. The Spartan pitching staff held the Bulldogs to just five base runners on the night, while the UNCG offense outhit their hosts 10-4
-- The Terriers are coming off a 9-7 loss to Spartanburg-rival USC Upstate in the midweek, with their late-inning attempted comeback coming up just short. While that loss gives Wofford back-to-back losing decisions in the midweek, the side has won its last two SoCon series against ETSU and WCU and have won six of their eight weekend series so far this year

SCOUTING THE SPARTANS
-- Leading the Spartans with a .364 average, outfielder Corey Rosier has been hot all season, but even more so in the past week. The redshirt-sophomore is currently on a five-game hitting streak and has had two knocks in each of his last four appearances. His 47 hits this year lead the SoCon and rank eighth in all of Division I baseball
-- Hogan Windish has been heating up in his own right over the past three weeks, seeing his average lift 24 points over his previous 11 appearances. He's been averaging .314 with a .500 OBP during that span, and his 11 HBP on the year rank 18th in the nation
-- Greg Hardison has been getting back to form as well. After a difficult showing against ETSU two weeks ago, Hardison went 4-for-11 (.364) against Mercer last weekend and drove in two runs on two hits against Gardner-Webb on Wednesday. He's hitting .375 over his current four-game hitting streak, and is averaging .389 with RISP on the year
-- Brendan Collins tossed four no-hit frames to earn the win against GWU this Wednesday. The right hander has a batting average against of .192 on the season, striking out 24 for a K/9 of 9.4

SCOUTING WOFFORD
-- The Terriers have been one of the best base running teams in the country in 2021 with their 71 stolen bases leading the SoCon and sitting fifth in Division I baseball. Jack Renwick's 15 swiped bags are first in the SoCon and 14th in the country, while Trey Yunger's 14 are runner-up in the conference and 20th in D1
-- Wofford has one of the better relief arms in the conference at their disposal, with junior righty Dalton Rhadans sitting at 4-0 with a 1.64 ERA and 0.97 WHIP. Rhadans has struck out 35 batters over his 11 appearances (33.0 IP) holding opponents to a .197 batting average while delivering three saves on the year

SERIES HISTORY
-- The Spartans are 49-24 against Wofford all-time, but lost the pair's last series, two games to one
-- 17 of the Terriers' 24 wins against UNCG have come in the past 12 seasons, with UNCG going 31-7 against the side prior to 2009
