GREENSBORO, N.C. – The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) men's tennis team will spend the next two days in beautiful Radford, Virginia playing a pair of matches.
 
The Spartans will meet host Radford Thursday at 3:00 p.m. and winless Tennessee Tech on Friday at 2:00 p.m. Both matches will be played at the Radford Tennis Complex. By the time, the Spartans return to campus Friday night, they will have played five matches in eight days.
 
UNCG will look to build off its thrilling 4-3 win over Davidson from this past Sunday.  
 
A Look At UNCG
	- The Spartans are 3-6 overall.
- They have split their last four matches.
- UNCG has wins over North Carolina Central, Fairfield, and Davidson.
- Nico Grewe won two of his three singles matches last weekend against Gardner-Webb and Davidson.
- In the loss to Gardner Webb, UNCG got wins from five different players as it won the doubles point behind Hugh Knapp and Cooper Wyett and Roger Rogowski and Alex Zuckerman.
- Knapp and Wyett also prevailed in doubles action against Davidson.
- Hampus Johansson was a winner at No. 6 singles against eighth-ranked Wake Forest.
- Knapp clinched the Davidson victory by winning at No. 3 singles.
- Grewe and Rogowski were singles winners against Davidson.
A Look At Radford
	- The Highlanders are 3-4 overall.
- Radford is 3-0 at home.
- Radford picked up its second Big South victory of the season in strong fashion Saturday afternoon, defeating North Carolina A&T 6-1.
- In doubles play Radford was able to take a 1-0 lead with wins on courts one and two. 
- Demis Taramonlis and Andres Silva teamed up for a 6-2 win while Guilherme Severin and Konstantinos Raptis clinched the doubles point with a 6-4 victory.
- Robert Hagen was named the Big South Freshman of the Week on Feb. 22.
- Radford's other two wins this spring were against Bluefield State and Hampton.
- Silva leads Radford with six victories.
- Aditya Balsekar has five wins for Radford.
A Look At Tennessee Tech
	- The Golden Eagles are 0-6.
- They lost to Kennesaw State, 6-1 last Saturday.
- Tech's Andre Rodeia had a 6-4, 6-1 triumph over Seru Tezuka in the No. 4 position for its lone point of the match.
- A spread-out schedule with a series of early postponements and cancellations to kick start the spring, the Golden Eagles have played four times since a season-opening doubleheader at No. 10 Wake Forest on Jan. 9. 
- Elias Grubet has two singles wins to lead Tennessee Tech.
- The Golden Eagles won the doubles point in their match against Lipscomb behind the No. 1 tandem of Evzen Holis and Andre Rodeia and No. 3 pair of Mika Berghaus and Elias Grubert.
