CSC All-District Team Announcement
GREENSBORO, N.C. - UNC Greensboro (UNCG) baseball team standouts
Kennedy Jones and
Mitchell Smith were named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District® team, announced by the organization on Tuesday
UNCG is part of District 3, which is comprised of Division I programs in North Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia. To be eligible, nominated student-athletes must be a starter or important reserve with a minimum 3.50 cumulative grade-point average in their second year at the current institution and must have played in at least 50 percent of the team's games.
UNCG's two honorees brought the Southern Conference total to 15 honored by CSC.

The CoSIDA Academic All-America® program separately recognizes baseball honorees in four divisions – NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA. Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second-, and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in June.
