CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA. – The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) men's cross country team competed in the Panorama Invitational on Friday, hosted by Virginia, at Panorama Farms in Charlottesville, Virginia.
The Spartans placed ninth out of 15 teams totaling 286 points. The Cavaliers took home the team title with 36 points, while Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) foes Virginia Tech (43 points) and Wake Forest (44 points) rounded out the top three finishes. UNCG finished ahead of Duquesne (10
th/291 points), East Carolina (11
th/358), Radford (12
th/364), Elon (13
th/369), Loyola (Md.) (14
th/389) and The Southern Conference (SoCon) foe VMI (15
th/448).
Freshman
Luke Hühn led the charge with his time of 25:30.3 in the eight-kilometer run. He finished 77
th out of 169 competitors and was one of five Spartans to place in the top 100.
Junior
Khalid Abdullahi was the next Spartan to cross the finish line with his time of 25:37.8, taking home 83
rd place. Senior
Luke Ward wasn't far behind, as he finished in 87
th place with a time of 25:51.3.
Sophomore Luke Ruffner ran the race in 26:02.3, good for 93
rd overall, while senior
Lane Prochaska crossed the finish line in 26:08.0, taking home 97
th place.

UP NEXT
The women will run tomorrow in the Upstate Invitational in Spartanburg, South Carolina, at the Roger Milliken Center. The five-kilometer race will begin at 9:00 a.m.
UNCG will then take some time off before preparing for the 2025 SoCon Championships, which will take place on Nov. 1 at Tryon Equestrian Center in Mill Spring, North Carolina. The women's five-kilometer race is set to begin at 10:00 a.m., while the men's eight-kilometer race will start at 10:45 a.m.
