JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) men's basketball team will compete in the 2025 Jacksonville Classic from Nov. 23-25, in Jacksonville, Florida, announced Thursday.

The field for the 2025 Jacksonville Classic includes Abilene Christian, Delaware, Georgia Southern, Southern Illinois, UAB, UNCG, UTEP, UTSA, William & Mary and Youngstown State.

The Spartans will face Youngstown State on Sunday, Nov. 23 and Delaware on Tuesday, Nov. 25.

All games in the tournament will be held at Edward Waters College from Sunday, Nov. 23^rd to Tuesday, Nov. 25^th.

Head Coach Mike Jones enters his fifth season at the helm of the Spartans, accumulating a record of 78-50 during his time with the Blue & Gold. This season he led UNCG to a 20-12 overall record and a 13-5 mark in The Southern Conference (SoCon). 

UNCG was voted to finish sixth in the 2024-25 SoCon Preseason Coaches' Poll. They claimed the second seed heading into the 2025 SoCon Tournament.
