ASHEVILLE, N.C. – The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) men's basketball team will head to a familiar spot this December in Harrah's Cherokee Center for a neutral site game against in-state foe UNC Asheville.
 
The two teams will face off on Tuesday, Dec. 2 at 7:00 p.m. with doors opening at 6:00 p.m. The neutral site contest in Harrah's Cherokee Center is presented by Ingles.
 
Harrah's Cherokee Center-Asheville has been the site for The Southern Conference (SoCon) men's and women's basketball championships for over 20 years.
 
This season marks the first contest between Asheville and UNCG since December 19, 2017, when the Bulldogs won 67-60 at the First Horizon Coliseum, formerly known as Greensboro Coliseum. The Spartans are 9-4 against the Bulldogs, dating back to 1993.
