West Palm Beach, Fla.-  The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) women's golf team wrapped up day one the Advance Golf Partners Collegiate , on Sunday, sitting in fourth place after the first round at Hammock Creek Golf Club in West Palm Beach, Florida.  
 
  
TEAM  

• UNCG firmly  sits in fourth place after carding a 20-over-par (308) after one round of action. 

• The Spartans trail the leaders, Virginia Tech, by eight strokes after the Hokies logged a 12-over-par (300).    

• The Blue & Gold recorded eight birdies and 51 pars on the day. UNCG ranks third in the entire competition in pars.  

INDIVIDUAL  

• Julia Baeumken finished round one leading the Spartans with a three-over-par (75) to sits in a tie for eighth place in the competition.  

• Sophie Lauture followed closely behind, turning in a score of a four-over-par (76) which puts her in a tie for 13th place.  

• Lauture dominated the par threes after day one, tied for the lead in the tournament with a stroke average of 2.75.  

• Chanelle Mwangi tied for 21st place with a five-over-par (77).  

• Kasey McIlvaine is also tied at 21st place after turning in a five-over-par (77).  

• Lulu Leetham finished day one with a seven-over-par (79) to sit at a tie for 40th place.  

• Elle Burnette rounded out the scorecard with an eight-over-par (80) for a share of 48th place in the tournament.
