GREENSBORO, N.C. – The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) men's golf team returns to Puerto Rico this week to host the Dorado Beach Collegiate from Sunday to Tuesday at TPC Dorado Beach.

THE FORMAT
Each team will play one round each day. Sunday and Monday will be a 7:30 a.m. EST/8:30 a.m. AST shotgun start, while Tuesday will be a 7:00 a.m. EST/8:00 a.m. AST start.

LAST TIME OUT FOR THE SPARTANS

• The Spartans opened up the spring slate with a fourth-place finish hosting the Palmas del Mar Collegiate from Feb. 8-10 at Palmas del Mar Flamboyan in Humacao, Puerto Rico.
• UNCG carded rounds of 290-282-281 to finish the three-day tournament with an overall score of 11-under-par (853).
• The Spartans finished second in the field with 58 birdies and a 4.58 average on par five holes.
• Kelvin Hernandez finished on top for the Spartans and in a tie for seventh place with a six-under-par (210) behind rounds of 72-69-69.
• The junior's stellar performance allowed him to pick up his second career Southern Conference (SoCon) Golfer of the Week accolade on Feb. 11.
• His back-to-back 69 rounds marked a new season best. He finished tied for fifth in the field with one eagle and 14 birdies.

SPARTANS THIS SEASON

• The Spartans opened the 2025-26 season with a fifth-place finish hosting the Bryan National Collegiate from Sept. 6-7 at Bryan Park in Browns Summit, North Carolina. UNCG carded rounds of 293-294-290 for a 13-over-par (877).
• The Spartans carded an 11^th place finish at the Bearcat Invitational on Sept. 16, 2025, at Coldstream Country Club in Cincinnati, Ohio. UNCG recorded rounds of 286-283-294 for an overall score of 11-over-par (863).
• UNCG finished in 10^th place at the Blessings Collegiate Invitational at Blessings Golf Course in Fayetteville, Arkansas, on Oct. 1, 2025, with an overall score of 61-over-par (925) with rounds of 303-314-308.
• Will Guidry, Dax Isbell and Cole Isbell competed individually in the Elon Phoenix Invitational. Guidry finished on top for UNCG in a tie for 24^th place with a two-under-par (211) total score on Oct. 14, 2025. The sophomore notched rounds of 75-63-73 in the two-day tournament.
• UNCG wrapped up the 2025 fall slate by finishing in 14^th place at Quail Valley Invitational in Vero Beach, Florida, at Quail Valley Golf Course.
• The Spartans carded an overall score of five-under-par (859) behind rounds of 286-293-280.
• B.J. Boyce is pacing the Spartans and is eighth in the SoCon with a 72.27 stroke average on the season.
• The Spartans claimed first place at last season's Dorado Beach Collegiate behind rounds of  273-279-283 over the three-day tournament for an overall score of 29-under-par (835).
