GREENSBORO, GA.- The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) women's golf team wrapped up day two of the Reynolds Lake Oconee Invitational, on Saturday, holding first place after finishing the second round at Great Waters Golf Course in Greensboro, Georgia.   
    
TEAM    

• UNCG maintains the lead after carding a tournament best five-under par (283) in round two. 

• Virginia Tech trails in the second place by five strokes after the Hokies logged a five-over-par (293) second round. 

• The Blue & Gold ranks first in the tournament with 27 birdies, third in pars with 113 and have the fewest bogeys in the field with only 25.  

• The Spartans are pacing the tournament in par fours with a 4.06 average.  

INDIVIDUAL    

• Chanelle Mwangi leads the Spartans with a four-under-par (140) with scores of 73-67. She jumped 17 spots in round two, going into Sunday just four strokes back from the lead in a tie for second place.   

• Lulu Leetham follows closely behind with a three-under-par (141) to be in a tie for fifth place.  

• Kasey McIlvaine moves up two spots to be tied at 17th place after turning in rounds of 72-74 for a two-over-par (146).    

• Sophie Lauture was the biggest mover of the day moving a team best 28 spots for a tie of 15th place with a three-over-par (147).   

• Individual Elle Burnette recorded scores of 74-76 for a six-over-par (150) for a tie of 27th place.   

• Julia Baeumken rounded out the scorecard with a 16-over-par (160) for a tie of 71st  place.
