Furman's Raegan Thompson hit 3-pointers on consecutive possessions midway through the second half to give the Paladins a 46-44 lead, but her second triple, which came with 8:53 left, would be Furman's last field goal of the night. UNCG outscored the Paladins 16-3 the rest of the way to snap a 10-game losing streak. Lakiah Hyson had a game-high 14 points for the Spartans, while Amanda Leigh had 12.
