GREENSBORO, N.C. – UNCG baseball looks to make it five straight wins this Tuesday, rematching with nearby High Point University at Williard Stadium. The Spartans took two of three decisions against the Panthers in a weekend series earlier in the year, defeating HPU 4-2 and 6-5 before conceding the finale 4-3. All three of those matchups were played at Truist Point, home of the Atlantic League's High Point Rockers, while this Tuesday's matchup will be the first this year at either team's home ballpark.
As it is currently scheduled, this will be the penultimate midweek matchup for the Spartans this season, with their lone remaining non-conference contest against North Carolina currently on slate for Tuesday, May 11th.

HOW'S THEIR FORM?
-- UNCG enters the midweek on a four-game winning streak, beating North Carolina A&T to sweep the season's "Battle for the 'Boro" series before taking three of three against The Citadel over the weekend
-- High Point dropped two of three in an away series at Radford this past weekend, following a 16-8 loss to Campbell the prior Tuesday
SCOUTING THE SPARTANS
-- The Spartans have been hot at the plate as of late, averaging 10.5 hits and 8.75 runs per contest in their past four games. Of those 42 hits, 23 came off the bats of Greg Hardison, Corey Rosier and Hogan Windish, as the trio drove in 19 of their team's 35 runs in total
-- Hardison slashed .563/.611/1.000 with two doubles, a triple and a home run last week, while driving in eight runs. His second homer of the year was just one of six collected by the Spartans over those four games as Madole and Windish both went deep twice, and Rosier added his ninth of the year in game two against The Citadel. Rosier is now tied with Windish for a team-high in home runs, as they are both one off tying a conference best in 2021
-- Right hander Austin Parsley went 1-0 over two relief appearances last week. While he only pitched 4.2 innings, the righty shutdown The Citadel offense in game two of a Friday doubleheader, recording the final 11 outs of the game in order. He surrendered just a single base runner during his overall time on the bump, while striking out five and holding opposing batters to a .067 batting average
SCOUTING HIGH POINT
-- Five-year senior Joe Johnson saw his seven-game hitting streak come to an end in Sunday's finale against Radford, going 12-for-30 (.400) on that streak. He's hit in all but eight games this year, and reached first safely in all but four, with his .579 slugging percentage, 13 doubles and six homers all sitting as Panther highs
-- This Tuesday is like to be a 'whole staff' day for the hosts, who currently have four qualifying arms averaging an ERA of below 4.00. Grey Lyttle's 63 strikeouts rank third in the Big South this year, as the weekend starter boasts a 2.84 ERA and 4.2 K/BB
SERIES HISTORY
-- UNCG is 24-13 against High Point all-time, defeating the side in two of three games played at Truist Point earlier this year. All three of those games were decided by two runs or less
-- The Spartans have won five of their last six meetings with the Panthers, and six of their last eight
