SCOUTING THE SPARTANS
--The Spartans are led by
Kennedy Jones,
Zack Budzik, and
Pres Cavenaugh in runs scored with four.
--Jones leads with three doubles on the season. The freshman had two in Sunday's game against South Carolina.

Hogan Windish and Cavenaugh are the only Spartans to have a home run.
--Windish was named the Southern Conference Player of the Week for his performance at South Carolina. He batted .571 with two doubles, seven RBIs, and a home run.

Hunter Shuey made his collegiate debut against Wake Forest.
--He pitched 2.1 innings, allowed four hits, and struck out one batter.

Mitchell Smith led the Spartans with two hits against the Demon Deacons.

SCOUTING THE MOUNTAINEERS
--The Mountaineers opened their season at Campbell and won the series 2-1.
--App State is coming off an 8-5 loss at #23 Duke on Tuesday.
--Three Mountaineers had two-hit performances against the Blue Devils: Dylan Rogers, Hunter Bryson, Alex Aguila.
--Jacob Whitley had the lone double for App State.
--Andrew Terrell and Rogers each stole a base at Duke.
--Rogers leads the Mountaineers with a .313 batting average.
--Xander Hamilton and Trey Jernigan each a win this season.
