--The Spartans are coming off a 2-1 series win over the Appalachian State Mountaineers this past weekend.
--Jared Mathewson, Austin Parsley, and Sam Murchison were the Spartans starting rotation against App State.
--Parsley and Alex Hoppe pitched a combined five-hit shutout in UNCG's 5-0 win on Saturday.
--The Spartans are ranked 21^st in shutouts in the nation and tied for first in the Southern Conference.
--Parsley is one of 84 pitchers in the nation to have an ERA of 0.00. He is the only one to do so in the SoCon.
--He leads the team in strikeouts with 13.
--Freshman Kennedy Jones leads the team with nine runs, 11 RBIs, and four doubles. He scored a career-high three runs on Saturday.
--Jones is tied for first in the conference in doubles with four players.

--The Aggies took the Friday contest with a final score of 14-4 and the Sunday game 6-0.
--Three Aggies have double-digit hits so far: Xavier Bussey (11), Cameron Brantley (10), and Alex Seaton (10).
--Brantley leads the team with two home runs, while Seaton follows with one.
--Brantley, Canton Brown, and Cort Maynard have each scored six runs. Anthony Hennings and Seaton follow with five.
