GREENSBORO, N.C. – The fun begins for the UNC Greensboro (UNCG) baseball team as it opens Southern Conference competition this weekend on the road against the Wofford Terriers.
UNCG is charging into its conference opener after scoring 17 runs each in its last two outings. The Spartans will be challenged immediately against Wofford, the SoCon preseason favorite. This also begins a heavy stretch of contests for UNCG, which will play seven games in nine days beginning Friday.
