2023 CSC Academic All-District Cross Country and Track & Field Teams
GREENSBORO, N.C. – The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) men's cross country and track teams had three Spartans named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC), formerly CoSIDA, Academic All-District® team, announced by the organization on Wednesday.
District 3 comprises all the Division I cross country and track & field programs in North Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia. To be eligible, nominated student-athletes must be a starter or important reserve with a minimum 3.50 cumulative grade-point average in their second year at the current institution and must have played in at least 50 percent of the team's games.
UNCG's three honorees brought the Southern Conference total to 17 awardees on the men's side. UNCG, ETSU, Furman, Chattanooga, and Western Carolina each had three, while Wofford had two.

The 2023 Academic All-District® Cross Country and Track & Field Team, announced by CSC, recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom.
The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes cross country and track & field honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA. Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in late June.
