LYNCHBURG, VA. – The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) men's and women's track & field teams competed at the Liberty Twilight Qualifier Wednesday night, hosted by Liberty University.
Men
Thomas Knepshield took home a top-10 finish in the 5000-meter run with a time of 15:59.31.
Nicholas Thoma was the only other Spartan to place in the top-15, taking home 15
th out of 50 in the 1500-meter run. Thoma clocked in a time of 1:56.63.
UNCG also ran its first relay of the season, as
Emmett Yacouba,
Dylan Christopher,
Michael Zapherson, and
Andrew Hamilton competed in the 4x400-meter relay clocking in a time of 4:10.43.
Women
Madison McMasters clocked in the lone personal best time for the Spartans with a time of 30.76 in the 200-meter run.
