ATHLETICS HALL OF FAME
During Bruce Shaw’s five years at the University, 1968-73, he helped the emerging men’s athletic program gain identity through his accomplishments in men’s basketball. A 6’6” center, he established single-game scoring (41 points) and rebounding records (team rebounding records for a career with 933, and single-game record of 27). When the basketball team was in its formative stages, he gave Spartan fans something to cheer for.
