ATHLETICS HALL OF FAME
Cathy S. Roberts has spent over 40 years of her life as a part of the UNCG family. She is in her sixth year as the Associate Athletic Director for Facilities and Operations, having been promoted from her role as an Assistant Athletic Director in July of 1999. She was named Assistant Athletic Director for Facilities and Operations in July of 1992.
Cathy has been the University's Senior Women's Administrator for the athletic department since 1999 and has served as the administrator for several teams, as well as overseeing equipment, facility operation, event management, and concessions for the athletic department for more than a decade.
A 1973 graduate of UNCG, Cathy has been a full-time employee of the athletic department since 1988 and a UNCG employee since the fall of 1973. She previously worked as equipment and facilities coordinator for the School of Health, Physical Education, Recreation, and Dance. She began her work with athletics on a part-time basis in 1978.
