UNC Greensboro

Winn Hazlegrove was the epitome of the term student-athlete. She was a three-time CoSIDA Academic All-American, three-time All-Big South first-team performer, a Big South Tournament Most Valuable Player and a Big South Scholar-Athlete. She graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor of science in accounting and remained a fifth year and completed her master's degree in accounting.
 
Ten years after her career ended, Winn is still listed in the Top 10 in 22 of 40 categories in the softball team's record book. She ranks No. 1 in seven statistical categories, including career wins, strikeouts, shutouts, starts, innings pitched, and appearances.
