ATHLETICS HALL OF FAME
During her time as a student at UNCG, Elizabeth House was an advocate for the athletics program. She watched the program struggle in the late 1970s and blossom into national prominence in the 1980s. Through her work as a sports writer Elizabeth was dedicated to ensuring that UNCG athletics received the local, regional, and national media attention. Her love for the University and the athletics program is well documented.
Elizabeth dedicated the 1982 spring edition of the Coraddi to the women's basketball team that was the national runner-up. She also was one of only a handful of sportswriters in the state comfortable enough to write competently about the sport. She later served as a correspondent for Soccer America and other periodicals.
