ATHLETICS HALL OF FAME
During Eddie Radwanski’s four years at the University, 1981-85, he led the men’s soccer team to national prominence and a pair of Division III championships. After leaving UNCG he embarked on a successful professional career spanning more than a decade. Radwanski was the first UNCG student-athlete to be drafted by a pro sports team and remains the highest draft pick ever. Eddie was also a member of the U.S. National Team and the 1986 U.S. World Cup Team, which competed in qualifying rounds. He later returned to the University to earn his degree.
