ATHLETICS HALL OF FAME
A native of Reykjavik, Iceland, Siggi played for UNCG from 1995-98. To this day, he is currently tied for first on the UNCG All-Time Scoring Leaders list.
He was a three-time All-Region selection and three-time All-American selection. During his career at UNCG, Siggi was a two-time All-Big South selection and a two-time AII-SoCon selection.
While competing at UNCG, Siggi and the Spartans compiled an impressive record of 66-18-5 which included 12-0-2 in the Big South Conference and 13-2-0 in the Southern Conference. Not only was he the Big South Conference Player of the Year in 1996, but was also a two-time Academic All-American in 1997-98.
Siggi went on to become the head coach of the Icelandic Women's National Team.
